I’m Rob Edwards, husband to Catherine, father to Joshua and Caitlin. Pastor of the Cradock Baptist Church in Portsmouth, Virginia.  Tinkerer, ponderer, and coffee consumer. Region Chaplain for the Middle East Region, US Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol.

I love to read, noodle my thoughts in a Moleskine, and brainstorm with MindJet. I enjoy travel, cooking, and planning to play golf.

All of my life has been spent in and around traditional churches. Our church is almost 90 years old, and facing the challenges of being a traditional church in a transitioning culture. So much of what I ruminate on here is filtered through that experience.
