World Changers Portsmouth Project
by Rob ~ April 13th, 2008. Filed under: Community Ministry, World Changers.One of the projects that the Portsmouth Baptist Association’s Partnership Missions Team has been pursuing for three years is to bring World Changers to Portsmouth.
Last year we were finally able to secure funding and approvals, and on July 5, 2008, over 200 World Changers volunteers will come to Portsmouth to work on houses in the Cradock community. But more importantly, they will be showing in practical ways that the churches of this community do care about the people of our neighborhood.
This past Friday & Saturday some of the leaders from the churches who will be coming were in town for our pre-project visit. You can read more about the project–and the visit–at the project website. You’ll find photos of the neighborhood, videos from the weekend, and more really cool information.
